This 1014-seat auditorium restored to its original Beaux-Arts style, with a fly-in 19x26 film screen and adjustable orchestra pit, provides flexible staging for a variety of events.  Located in historic Downtown Durham; the main auditorium, features quality live performances by national and international touring artists and many of the Triangle’s own performing arts groups. Because of its rich tradition of film, two modern cinemas were added to the arts complex during the 1992 renovation. At 276 and 76 seats, respectively, Cinemas 1 and 2 provide a singular environment for small to mid-size meetings complete with sound and projection capabilities and comfortably-tiered seating. The Box Office (the main box office with windows facing the plaza) is open 11am - 6pm Monday through Friday and one hour before live performances. The Cinema Box Office (up the stairs and inside the building) opens thirty minutes prior to the first screening of the day. 919-560-3030
