Built in the early 1930s, the Gothic-style Duke Chapel is the centerpiece of Duke University. Modeled after England’s Canterbury Cathedral, it has a 210-foot-tall bell tower. Weekly services are held in Sunday at 11 AM.
During the academic year: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Summer hours: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Holidays and Breaks: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed Christmas Day
Closed to the public for weddings, funerals, and other special events that are not listed on the Chapel web calendar.
