Durham Performing Arts Center

The Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) presents Broadway shows, superstar concerts, and fun performances for families and young audiences. Adjacent to the famous Durham Bulls Athletic Park in the award-winning American Tobacco District, it features 2,800 seats in a 100,000 square foot venue specially designed to host the largest direct-from-New York Broadway shows plus concerts and special events.

The center features include:
Performance Theatre - The atmosphere inside the 2,800-seat theatre is modern, yet comfortable and inviting with warm wood accents, stainless steel and brushed metals.
BlueCross Blue Shield Atrium - A perfect setting for catered events, the dramatic three-story glass-walled lobby offers over 15,000 square feet of event space.
Capitol Broadcasting Plaza - This festive public space features a performance area able to accommodate up to 500 patrons for festivals, outdoor performances, and pre-show gatherings.
Stage - Our 6,000 square foot stage doubles as a unique meeting, reception or banquet space, perfect for smaller and alternative events.
