One of the largest municipal parks in Wake County with a total size of 310 acres. The park design features opportunities for many types of recreation, while preserving the environment by incorporating the facilities into the natural setting. Visitors may enjoy picnics, play ball on the athletic fields, walk along the nature trails, watch a performance in the Sertoma amphitheater, or play on the LazyDaze Playground. Located within the park are Bond Park Community Center and the Cary Senior Center.

The challenge ropes course is an outdoor learning facility designed to stimulate teamwook, encourage cooperation, instill trust and confidence. Low course is located on or near ground level.
