Lake Johnson Park 919-233-2121

The park is composed of a 150+ acre lake and 300+ acres of land surrounding the lake.  The lake/park offers boating (rentals and personal launches; non-motorized, non-trailored), walking trail (3.5 miles of paved greenway trails and 1.9 miles of unpaved trails), picnic areas and shelters, concessions, facility rentals, and a vast array of classes, special events and recreational activities. Fish includes largemouth bass, shell cracker, crappie, bream, catfish, and carp.  During the summer months enjoy the waterfront concert series.

Lake Johnson Park is open 7 days a week, sunrise to sunset.
