Lake Wheeler Park 919-662-5704

Lake Wheeler Park is comprised of a 650-acre lake (water reservoir) and 150-acres of park and land buffer surrounding the lake. Along with boating and fishing, the park has a variety of event rental facilities, non-motorized boat rentals, private boat launching opportunities, special events, waterfront concerts, boat shows and educational programs.

The park also features a sand volleyball court, various sized sheltered picnic areas, and concessions for sale. Open year-round.
