A 160-acre park that offers a variety of experiences for its visitors. Activities available include:
• Fishing and camping (Tent and RV campgrounds are open April through November. If you don’t have gear they have a Rod and Reel loaner program)
• Boating on two 10-acre lakes (paddle boats and canoes are available to rent on weekends)
• Walking trail (4 miles of hiking trails)
• Mountain bike trail (five-mile, moderate to difficult mountain bike trail)
• Sheltered picnic area (available for rent)
• Volleyball court
Other facilities at the park include a Nature Center and Wildlife Rescue Center. Free of charge programs are available to schools, civic groups, scout groups, etc. on and off site. Scheduled nature programs and a nature summer camp are available to the public at a set fee. A multi-purpose room, pavilion and small outdoor amphitheater are available to rent.
